Available Tapestries

Tapestries are based on Rita’s original drawings and designs. They are ready for wall installation and include Velcro strips on the back that will attach to a matching wooden slot. Materials used include hand-dyed wool, cotton, silk and some experimental novelty yarns used for special effects. Light vacuuming is recommended twice a year.

This tapestry was inspired by windows arranged in a dance-like fashion. The white frames of the windows are woven in a coarse cotton twine to contrast the softness of blended wool.

This wool, cotton and raffia tapestry was inspired by Jonathan Nelson Design’s New Hope Chair. Natural un-dyed raffia was used to achieve a wood-like texture in the chair images.
